Let me just start out by saying....WHY would they make my girl Mariah Carey perform FIRST? They should have made someone like, say Hillary Duff perform first...get it out of the way. How DARE they?
Regardless, her performance was great. She actually was catapulted onstage while her assistants were trying to finish sewing her into her dress and secure of earphones. Of course the earphone thing caused her to flub the song a litte bit, but in true Mariah form she came through in the end delivering her signature end of song long note that seemed to go on forever. My daughter and I were in awe (as always). She took home ONE award out of FOUR nominations, causing some to say that she was "Snubbed"

I would advise Lindsay Lohan to NEVER,EVER attempt to sing a Stevie Nicks/Fleetwood Mac song onstage. She actually tried to sing " Edge of 17". For her to think that she could actually come close to pulling that off, seriously is a joke. What an insult to Stevie Nicks. What a truly AWFUL performance. If she REALLY wants to sing, she should stick to her little stupid " life story" songs, or little bubble gum pop remakes.

Kudos to Sarah McLachlan and Cyndy Lauper for a breathtaking rendition of Cyndy's song "Time After Time". One word: Incredible.
The rest of the show is not very comment worthy, but I WILL say that I think it was incredibly diva-like of Kelly Clarkson to be a no show. WHAT-ever. I will also say that Gwen Stefani dancing around the stage with Pharrell saying " I Like it Like That" every so often into the microphone HARDLY passes as a performance. I was expecting her to do at LEAST " Hollaback Girl" COME on!
I will also not comment on the fact that they had Cedric The Entertainer hosting. I could hardly bear to watch.
Did anyone notice that Nick Lachey was there ALONE????? Hmmm...where was Jessica? I know, she was busy buying a BMW for her best friend and assistant, CayCee. Random.....
Over & Out.....Happy Thankgiving!
