Hold Me Closer Tony Danza.......

Hi Everyone.....

Ok...I MEANT to post the other day, and I had this really cool post where I was listing the songs that meant alot to me and were very memorable, for whatever reasons...etc...etc... BUT....after I had it ALL typed out and everything I left the computer for some reason or another, and my boyfriend went on it after me and thought that the things down in the task bar were not important so he just " x'ed " out of them like an ignorant DINK without seeing what they were and how they WERE NOT saved. In any case, he caught a Yankee Candle in the upper arm ( for the second time in his life ), and has a scar to prove it..........NOW.....he is at work, and there is no way that this post will be sabotaged......

Driving in my car today, listening to the " Almost Famous " soundtrack ( one of my faves, because it is my absolute favorite movie...) I was singing along to " Tiny Dancer " by Elton John. As it came to the chorus, of course instead of singing " Hold me closer tiny dancerrrrrrrr...." I sang " Hold me closer Tony Danzaaaaaaaaaaaa" because I heard that once and it STUCK with me. Even though I KNOW the real words to this song, I ALWAYS sing the Tony Danza ones !

This is not the only song that I do that to. There are so many songs that, even though I KNOW the real words, I always sing the ones that I first THOUGHT they were. I have discovered that I am NOT alone. Take a look at this site, and see if YOUR lyrics match up. I have to say that The Verve Pipe " Freshman " is in my top ten. I used to always sing ( along with my sister )......" never died 40 cents...", when in all actuality, it was " never died for these sins".
